The World of Sports according to Wex (and other trivial matters): Dwayne Wade

Dwayne Wade

If anyone caught any of the Pistons/Heat game last night, you will have noticed that Dwayne Wade played only 25 minutes due to foul trouble and still was the difference in the game. Totally unstoppable, he either scores or makes the great pass (as he did to Mourning late in the game). Sooner or later (hopefully sooner) we are going to have to recognize that he may be the best player in the league. It will hurt the hearts of many purists that a guy 6'4" may be the best in a league where a small forward can be 6'9" but Wade truly is remarkable. Not only is he unstoppable offensively, he has dedicated himself to becoming better as a stopper and already is a top defensive player. Talk about a true all round player!! Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, MJ - look out - we have found the next great one.
